Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the DSCPdf website located at dscpdf.com ("Service"), operated by DSCPdf ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

DSCPdf provides a free, online utility that allows users to:

  • Verify the validity and integrity of digital signatures embedded in PDF documents.
  • Extract X.509 digital signature certificates from signed PDF files and download them as .cer files.
  • View signer details and digital signature metadata from PDF documents.
  • Check the expiry date of Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs) from signed PDFs.

The Service is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use, subject to these Terms.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with applicable law, including India's Information Technology Act, 2000. You must not:

  • Upload any PDF document that you do not have the legal right to access, process, or share.
  • Use the Service to extract, analyze, or tamper with documents in a manner that violates privacy laws or the rights of third parties.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise gain unauthorized access to our server-side processing engine or infrastructure.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or mass-upload tools to submit large numbers of documents to the Service.
  • Misrepresent the results produced by this Service, or use them to commit fraud, forgery, or impersonation.
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts, damages, or impairs the Service or its servers.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to the design, layout, text, graphics, logos, and source code, is the intellectual property of DSCPdf and is protected under applicable Indian and international copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of this website without our prior written consent.

The PDF documents you upload remain your property at all times. By uploading a document, you grant DSCPdf a temporary, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process the document solely for the purpose of providing the requested service. This license terminates immediately upon completion of the processing request.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
  • The results of signature verification are legally conclusive for all jurisdictions and all use cases.
  • The extracted certificate files will be accepted by any specific government portal or software system.
  • The Service is free of viruses, malware, or other harmful components.

Signature verification results produced by this tool are informational in nature. For legally binding determinations of document authenticity, consult a qualified legal professional or use certified verification software approved by the relevant authority.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DSCPdf and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, without limitation, any loss of data, business interruption, financial loss, or any other commercial damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed INR 0 (zero), as the Service is provided entirely free of charge.

6. Third-Party Services & Advertising

This website uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. For information on how to opt out of personalized advertising, see our Privacy Policy.

We also use Google Analytics to understand website usage patterns. No personally identifiable information from your uploaded documents is shared with any third-party analytics or advertising service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
